What is Loop Heat Pipe?

Loop Heat Pipe(LHP) is an efficient self circulating two-phase heat transfer device driven by thermal power, which can transfer heat over long distances and adapt to different gravity environments.

EntropyX is a supplier of Loop Heat Pipes products throughout the entire industry chain
01
Manufacture of the Porous Wick

The porous wick is the core component that drives the stable operation of the Loop Heat Pipe. EntropyX has the ability to produce high-performance porous wick, which can be made of metal fibers or ceramic whiskers with gradient or dual pore structure. The average pore size is smaller than 1 μ m(0.8~1.2 μ m >95%). Porosity is more than 70%, equivalent thermal conductivity is smaller than 3W/(m · K) and compressive strength is greater than 50MPa. The porous wick with small pore size, high porosity and low thermal conductivity is the guarantees for the heat transfer ability of the Loop Heat Pipe.

02
Capacity of Design

EntropyX has established a complete design system for loop heat pipes. This includes evaporator design, matching of system volume with filling capacity, matching of condenser condensation capacity, compensation for pipeline heat leakage and enhancement of heat transfer ability of low quality factor working fluids. The heat transfer capabilities of Loop Heat Pipes such as high heat flux, low thermal resistance, long-distance and anti gravity, has been improved. And product costs have also been reduced by optimization of process.

03
Technology of Processing

EntropyX has a high-level team of technicians. We use the most advanced machining equipment and independently develop core equipment. EntropyX has the ability to develop key processes such as sintering of high-performance porous wick, machining of high-precision porous wick, manufacture of precision structural component, assembly of complex components, welding of the system and high precision filling of working fluids. EntropyX has also formed a stable production capacity and quality assurance system.
